Ain't Guanajuato No More. (Until Next Time).

The three months we spent in Guanajuato earlier this year seem like forever ago now. But as I was preparing to blog about our current trip to Europe, I realized I had quite a few photos of our time in Mexico that I still hadn't posted. The time since we left Mexico has been hectic, and we're touring Europe far more quickly than we usually travel, so I haven't had much time to blog.

So here are some fond memories of our snowbird adventure.

Guanajuato is all about color!

People and fiestas!

The tunnels and sunken roads.

The food!

Carnitas!

Pastor!

The infamous Bin Laden.

Gorditas and tlacoyos from one of our favorite food stalls!

And more refined fare.

Rooftop bars and stellar Negronis.

Fantastical doors and street art.

Flowers and jacarandas!

The Pipila! (Alas no Poopoola, so far.)

The family visit! Complete with surly Mirabel.

Now she's happy! She said she just thought of a banana on a bicycle.

The sunsets!

But mostly the colors!
