Snorting the good stuff with Amyl and the Sniffers.

Nothing like a family night out at a punk rock concert!

O and I met John, our granddaughter Luciya and her bestie Kylie at the Knitting Factory in downtown Boise to see Amyl and the Sniffers. Teresa flew up from San Diego for the show!

Amyl and the Sniffers are a high-energy punk band from Melbourne, Australia. The lead singer, Amy Taylor, is constantly in motion, screaming with rage and joy and clearly having the time of her life.

Her song "Knifey" features strong feminist lyrics and punk attitude.

Teresa is a huge fan. She especially loves "Guided by Angels."

"Energy, good energy and bad energyI've got plenty of energyIt's my currencyI spend, protect my energy, currency."

She is indeed a bundle of energy. Her Aussie accent is almost impossible to decipher.

She and the band are high on the success of their first major tour as headliners. And they live up to the acclaim they are receiving. It's such a joy to see people who are clearly having fun playing together.

"OMG! They're sooo good!"

After the show we couldn't stop grinning. So exhilarating! So much fun!
