June Bloom!

We may be on the cusp of summer, but here in Boise we're still in the full bloom of spring. It was a very wet May, much to our disappointment, but now we're reaping the dividend of a very colorful June.

Our friends Eileen and Aston came up from SF to celebrate 

Eileen's birthday and enjoy the floral bounty.

The sun is setting now at around 9:45, so it doesn't get fully dark until well after 10. The trees are all vivid hues of green, with all the lushness of full spring. Everyone is outside enjoying it while they can. It's an exhilarating time to be alive.
