4th Of July In Montana, Part 3. Scenic Montana.

After the pow-wow, we headed back to Josie's place for dinner.

We fell in love with the lush serenity of the verdant valleys ringed with snow-capped peaks.

Especially this area at the foot of the Mission Mountains around St. Ignatius.

The hospitable Montanans had even prepared a placed for us.

The vividly green fields were dotted with pools of standing water
perfect for my beloved reflection shots.

The evening was so beautiful that we decided to have dinner overlooking Flathead Lake.

After dinner, we strolled around the lake. It was around 9:00, but looked like late afternoon.
The sun finally set around 10, and it didn't get fully dark until after 11,
about a half hour later than in Boise.
