The Buttocks Of A Dog. Korean Style.

We had several encounters with canine cuisine in Vietnam. Here are a few links to older posts, starting with the origins of the phrase, "the buttocks of a dog." The first hint of its yumminess. Steamed dog buns. Our first encounter with the real thit cho in the market.Dog as haute cuisine, the French connection. In Vietnam, dog is considered a cold weather dish.

But according to this article, in Korea, dog stew is a hot weather dish.

I can only conclude that it's delicious any time. Sorry, Rover.

I had a dog bite me in Bali - that dog in a stew would have been good anytime.
